Patrick Louis Carrier
We all wear a great many hats in our lives and Patrick is no exception. While earning his undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy, Patrick was also a flanker on the Loyola Rugby Club and continues to be a supporter to this day. Notre Dame offered a similar respite from endless hours spent in the Law Library through the Bengal Bouts where Patrick was a boxer. He soon realized that maybe it was best to keep his brain between his ears at which point he switched over to marathons and triathlons, endurance sports he still enjoys today. It’s good training for keeping up with his wife, a very active ultra-marathoner, and four girls from 18 months to 19 years old. Patrick still visits the farm in Michigan, but has managed to carve out a bit of a plot here in the city with the various raised bed, pots and planters he’s constructed/assembled to form his home garden in Chicago’s Irving Park Neighborhood.
